Juice Fasting Recipes for Success

If you're looking for juice fasting recipes then you're not alone! The women and men who enter my NYC practice are all looking for one thing. They want rapid weight loss yet they don't want to sacrifice their health and vitality to gain it. How do you suppose they react when I share with them that they get to have it all with juice fasting! They are elated. And the results speak for themselves. Juice fasting enables you to shed pounds faster than you ever dreamed was possible and at the same time regain that healthy glow that comes from a vibrantly healthy body. Jump for joy, you know you wanna!

Because it's results are so obvious, juice fasting has been used for thousands of years worldwide as a way to lose excess weight, increase energy, and maintain optimal health. The concept itself is simple, but you will want to ensure you are receiving the maximum nutrition your body requires, and this can be a bit more complicated if you do not have a quality set of juice fasting recipes to use.

The following are a few of the recipes I share with my clients and in my Breakthrough Fasting Guide.

Kate's Green Drink - A Favorite

These plants are green from their high concentrations of chlorophyll. Just like blood to humans, chlorophyll is the live-giving nutrient in plants. Green juices such as these do an amazing job of regulating blood sugar and sending more oxygen to the blood, just like exercise. This supplies your body with the energy it needs to melt off excess pounds.

One green apple (or other varieties)

Two celery stalks

One medium cucumber

2 handfuls of spinach (or kale)

The juice from 1/2 lemon

(Add more apples for desired sweetness)

The Red Dragon

This juice features beets. Not only is it beautiful in color, but beet juice beautifies the body because of its liver detoxifying properties. The liver is responsible for metabolizing and flushing out fat. Take it easy on the beets at first. Because they are such effective detoxifiers, too much of them can cause nausea. Begin with a slice about the size of your thumb and increase as you become cleaner and healthier.)

2 large celery stalks

2 medium carrots

1/4 beet (or as much as is tolerable)

juice of 1/2 lemon

I use these two juices often, both for my own cleanses and with my New York City clients. Everyone is impressed with their results. Still, you will want to keep your juice fasting fun, and take time to really discover what feels good and works well for YOU. If you're not having fun, or you don't like the juice, you won't stick with it. You know your own unique body best, so listen to it and give it what it tells you it needs.
